This Privacy Policy explains how Chuev Research (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit reslab.pro (the “Site”). We built this Site to be lightweight and low-tracking by design — this page tells you exactly what data exists, why, and how to control it.
Who we are
Chuev Research is the independent software research & automation practice of Andrew A. Chuev, remote-first, operating across the EU/UA. For any privacy-related question, contact contact@reslab.pro.
What data we collect
Information you provide
- Contact form. The “Let’s automate what matters” form on the homepage collects your name (optional), email address, and message. Submissions are emailed to us and stored in the Site’s database so we can follow up on your inquiry.
We do not offer account registration, checkout, or any other data-entry flow on this Site. We do not collect payment information here — commercial engagements are handled separately, under a signed agreement.
Information collected automatically
- Server & hosting logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure logs standard technical data for every request — IP address, browser/user-agent string, referring page, timestamp — for operational security and abuse prevention.
- No analytics, no ad tracking. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party marketing trackers on this Site.
Cookies
We do not set marketing or analytics cookies. A small number of cookies may be set by the third-party services described below (notably Google reCAPTCHA) as part of their own anti-abuse mechanisms; these are not readable by us and are governed by that provider’s policy.
Third-party services
To keep the Site simple and reliable, we rely on a short list of external services. Each may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy:
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects the contact form from spam and automated abuse. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — typefaces are served from Google’s font CDN at page load. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Transactional email delivery — contact form notifications are routed through an SMTP delivery provider solely to get your message to our inbox.
Why we process this data
Our legal basis is legitimate interest — responding to inquiries and keeping the Site secure and operational — or, where applicable, your consent when you submit the contact form. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not use it for automated profiling.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle your inquiry and maintain business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Raw hosting/security logs are rotated on a routine schedule by our infrastructure provider.
Your rights
Regardless of where you’re located, we honor the following on request:
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — erase your data where we have no legal or legitimate business reason to keep it.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these, email contact@reslab.pro. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days.
International data transfers
Some third-party services listed above (e.g. Google) may process data on infrastructure located outside your country. Where this happens, it is governed by that provider’s own safeguards and privacy policy.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data this Site handles. See our Security Policy for details on how we approach infrastructure and application security more broadly.
Children’s privacy
This Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at, or knowingly collecting data from, children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the Site or the services it relies on change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
